Karl Backus has been acting for over 20 years. He studied acting with José Quintero, Oleg Tabakov and Jim Wise. He graduated with a Masters in acting from Florida State University, Professional Actors Training Program in Sarasota, Florida. His acting career has taken him all over the US and Europe. He has appeared on stage at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Off-Broadway, and on tour through western Europe. He currently lives in San Diego with his wife and two dogs.
