What's The Vig? is the third film that Laura has worked on and it is her first feature-length film project. Previously, she played the lead in Gray - a short film about the struggles a couple encounters in their relationship. Her first film was another short called Illusion, for which Laura wrote the screenplay. Illusion won Best of Show and Best in Class at the 2004 San Diego Fair in the Student Showcase division. In addition, Laura is writing a feature-length screenplay.  She has acted professionally in the theatre and hopes to get back to that in the near future. Laura currently works part-time at KCBQ/KPRZ as a Board Operator and Voice-Over Artist. Also, she is a student at California State University, San Marcos working on her teaching credential. She has an Associate’s Degree in Cinema, a Bachelor's Degree in Music and plans to get a Master's Degree in Film. Oh, and if you look closely enough, you will see Laura as the waitress in the restaurant scene of WTV?
